Guillermo is an Industrial Engineer and Fire Protection Engineering Specialist with over a decade of experience delivering high-performance Fire & Life Safety solutions across Latin America and the Caribbean. Since 2012, he has focused exclusively on code compliance, performance-based design, and fire protection systems engineering, supporting complex and large-scale developments from concept design through construction, commissioning, and technical validation.
He is NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) with strong expertise in international codes and standards, including NFPA, IBC, and global Fire & Life Safety (FLS) best practices. His professional experience includes luxury hotels, high-rise residential buildings, mixed-use developments, logistics centers, distribution warehouses, hospitals, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and architecturally significant projects that require advanced fire engineering and strict regulatory alignment.
As Founder & CEO of a specialized fire protection engineering firm, Guillermo leads high-level technical teams focused on BIM-based fire protection design, fire alarm and detection systems, automatic sprinkler systems, foam systems, smoke management, and comprehensive Fire & Life Safety consulting. His methodology emphasizes early fire strategy integration, interdisciplinary coordination, and risk-informed engineering to enhance safety, efficiency, and long-term operational reliability.
